Youssou N’Dour & Jason Isbell Head More Bluesfest 2018 Acts!

Bluefest has announced another 16 acts for the Easter 2018 event. Headliners for this announcement include Americana superstar Jason Isbell along with rock legend Jackson Browne and iconic Senegalese artist Youssou N’Dour. Also on the bill will be Seal, Michael Franti and Spearhead, Gomez,  Rory Graham, AKA Rag‘n’Bone ManThe Original Blues Brothers BandJimmy Cliff,  The Wailers,  Benjamin BookerHurray for the Riff RaffCanned Heat, Walter Trout, special guest vocalist with The New Power Generation, André Cymone and The Teskey Brothers. 
“Our second Bluesfest artist announcement features a cross section of artists – from the greatest African artist of our time, to incredible singers (in a year we already have such incredibly great singers already announced), to the best in Americana, Reggae, Blues & Roots music and more,” said Festival Director, Peter Noble. “From top to bottom, I am so proud of Bluesfest’s new announcement of 16 amazing artists. When added to those already announced, and with more to come, it’s going to be very special Bluesfest. Each festival is a hand crafted labour of love. Brian Wise

Brian Wise was the Editor of Addicted To Noise‘s Australian site from 1997 – 2002. The site won two ONYA Awards as Best Online Music Magazine in 1999 & 2000. He has also been Editor since its reincarnation in 2013. He also presents the weekly music interview program Off The Record on 102.7 Triple R-FM (rrr.org.au) in Melbourne. It is networked to 45+ stations across Australia on the Community Radio Network and is a four-time winner of the Best Music Program Award from the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia. In 2012, it was nominated as a finalist in the Excellence in Music Programming category. Brian was also the Founding Editor & Publisher of Rhythms Magazine and is now its Senior Contributing Editor.
