Springsteen In Sydney: Easybeats, INXS & Darkness

Bruce Springsteen not only treated Sydney fans at Allphones Arena on Wednesday evening to the entire Darkness on The Edge of Town album but he also performed the Esaybeat’s classic ‘Friday On My Mind’ (voted as the greatest Australian single of all time) and the INXS hit ‘Please Don’t Change,’ adding to his catalogue of Australian songs on this tour.

The other major news of the evening was that Eddie Manion filled in on saxophone in the absence of Jake Clemmons who had to fly home due to the death of his father.

Springsteen & The E Street Band have two dates in the Hunter Valley this weekend and one show in Brisbane on February 26 before heading for New Zealand.
