The Cutting Edge 1965–1966: The Bootleg Series Vol. 12 will be released in 18-disc format on November 6 and collects almost every note Dylan recorded in the studio during the two years that produced Bringing It All Back Home, Blonde On Blonde and Highway 61 Revisited.
And as a taste of what’s to come some of the music has been released on YouTube. For example, “Can You Please Crawl Out Your Window” features Dylan’s first recording with the musicians who became known as The Band. On Take 1 Dylan accompanies his vocals with guitar and harmonica, Mike Bloomfield plays lead guitar, Al Kooper is on the celeste, Paul Griffin is on piano and Harvey Brooks and Bobby Gregg play bass and drums, respectively.
