It is almost a frenzy of activity for Neil Young in the latter part of this year. Young played Farm Aid with Willie Nelson earlier this month, then they teamed up again for the Harvest The Hope benefit in Nebraska on September 27 and Young will play the Bridge School Benefit in late October after solo shows in Boston and Philadelphia.
Next month, the second volume of Young’s autobiography will also be published. Titled Special Deluxe: A Memoir of Life and Cars (Blue Rider/Harper), continues his story about his obsession with cars and the ecology.
Also, on NeilYoung.com appears the new song, ‘Who’s Gonna Stand Up?’, to be on Young’s forthcoming new studio album, Storeytone. Young debuted the song with Crazy Horse at shows in the U.K. this summer and also included it in his acoustic set at Farm Aid in Raleigh, North Carolina.
