Lumineers & Arcade Fire For Big Day Out!


Seattle’s PEARL JAM will be headlining each Big Day Out in January 2014 – including different sets at each Sydney show. The band’s tenth studio album, Lightning Bolt, will be released internationally on October 14, 2013.

Other acts include The Lumineers, Arcade Fire (for the first time since 2008), Blur, Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion, Tame Impala, Northlane, Pez, Ghost, Portugal The Man, Major Lazer, Steve Angello, Mudhoney, The Cosmic Psychos (whose documentary Blokes You Can Trust is at this year’s Melbourne Film Festival) and more to be announced.

General Admission tickets to Big Day Out 2014 are $185 each, all inclusive. There are NO added booking fees and no sneaky surcharges. $185. Like A Boss Tickets premium passes are $285 all-inclusive.

Brian Wise

Brian Wise was the Editor of Addicted To Noise‘s Australian site from 1997 – 2002. The site won two ONYA Awards as Best Online Music Magazine in 1999 & 2000. He has also been Editor since its reincarnation in 2013. He also presents the weekly music interview program Off The Record on 102.7 Triple R-FM ( in Melbourne. It is networked to 45+ stations across Australia on the Community Radio Network and is a four-time winner of the Best Music Program Award from the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia. In 2012, it was nominated as a finalist in the Excellence in Music Programming category. Brian was also the Founding Editor & Publisher of Rhythms Magazine and is now its Senior Contributing Editor.
