Frenzal Rhomb In ARIAs Tirade

Sydney punk rockers Frenzal Rhomb engaged in a Twitter tirade about the ARIAs on Sunday night that has even got News Limited reporting the controversy.

For more than three hours, the band members commented about Australian music’s highest profile awards night with special attention to Guy Sebastian and the official ARIA twitter account.

According to News.com.au some of their tweets included:

Sorry, you’re called the “Australian Recording Industry Association Music Awards”? Please have more American guest stars … fuckheads.

OHHHHH, you got the guy from @Novafm95 to present an award. That’s some finger on the pulse shit … bravo.

@GuySebastian Well done, you are the best live act our County has ever seen. James Reyne and Bon Scott will be fucking stoked.

Congratulations “some band no c*** gives a rat’s arse about”. Enjoy your 15 minutes … have fun trying to book shows in 20 years.

@ARIA_Official A dude from a fucking tv talent comp? Really? Do you fuckwits even go to gigs?

Hot f***en diggety damn, the state of music today makes us almost miss @powderfinger_au. Almost.

@ARIA_Official Seriously though, great show, well done. *would rather get aids than watch again*

The band, which was formed in 1992, also reported later that it had picked up a ‘shitload’ of new followers after the online rant.
