Flaming Lips On Holiday With My Morning Jacket

October 29, 2013 – (Burbank, CA.) – The Flaming Lips have announced that they have been invited to participate in My Morning Jacket‘s One Big Holiday destination event, which will take place at the newly renovated Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya, Mexico January 26 through the 30 in 2014.

This four-night, all inclusive event will feature sets from My Morning Jacket, The Flaming Lips, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Mariachi El Bronx, and Thievery Corporation’s Rob Garza performing solo DJ sets.

The Flaming Lips’ Wayne Coyne says, “Being with (MMJ’s) Jim James is like hanging with an outlaw who just broke out of jail, but this outlaw is also Jesus Christ at the last supper…and there is music everywhere being made by magic birds that leave diamonds in your drinks.”

Tickets are on sale now at www.mmjonebigholiday.com. All-inclusive prices range from $1,249 to $2,599 per person based on double occupancy and include a four night stay at the resort!
