Dori Freeman On Off The Record

Dori Freeman played at the Port Fairy Folk Festival and is playing at The Caravan Music Club on Wednesday March 15 and the Northcote Social Club on Thursday March 16. Dori will also be at the Blue Mountains Music Festival on Friday March 17 and the Newtown Social Club on Monday March 20.

On her way to Port Fairy, Dori dropped into the Triple R studios (www.rrr.org.au) in Melbourne for a chat and to perform some songs for Off The Record. Dori and her partner Nick Falk played ‘Fine Fine Fine’ from last year’s self-titled album produced by Teddy Thompson and a new song, ‘Cold Waves,’ which will appear her forthcoming album, also produced by Thompson.

In 2012, it was nominated as a finalist in the Excellence in Music Programming category. Brian was also the Founding Editor & Publisher of Rhythms Magazine and is now its Senior Contributing Editor.
