Americanafest 2014 – First Line-Up Out

The Americana Music Association has announced the first line-up for its expanded festival and conference in its 15th year.  Anchored by its 13th annual Honors & Awards show on Wednesday, September 17 at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium, the Association has also added three-time Americana Group of the Year winners, The Avett Brothers, to a headlining slot at Riverfront Park on Saturday, September 20.

Admission to the Riverfront show will be included in Americana Festival & Conference registrations for the September 17-21 event. Registartion for the Conference and Festival is available at the Americana Music Association.  Individual tickets for The Avett Brothers Riverfront show will go on sale to the general public for $52.50 on Friday, June 27 at 10 AM via www.ticketfly.com.

Brian Wise

Brian Wise was the Editor of Addicted To Noise‘s Australian site from 1997 – 2002. The site won two ONYA Awards as Best Online Music Magazine in 1999 & 2000. He has also been Editor since its reincarnation in 2013. He also presents the weekly music interview program Off The Record on 102.7 Triple R-FM (rrr.org.au) in Melbourne. It is networked to 45+ stations across Australia on the Community Radio Network and is a four-time winner of the Best Music Program Award from the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia. In 2012, it was nominated as a finalist in the Excellence in Music Programming category. Brian was also the Founding Editor & Publisher of Rhythms Magazine and is now its Senior Contributing Editor.
